Tom Hawks is the Owner and President of Total Home Solution. He has over 35 years of experience in the custom building and remodeling industry which have allowed him to keep his finger on the pulse of trends and traditions in this ever-changing business. 

 

Total Home Solution was established because Tom recognized a lack of comprehensive remodeling services in the trade. He embraced the “design-build” concept which at the time was not a mainstream idea. He wanted homeowners to experience the convenience and luxury of working with one overall expert instead of having to deal with multiple companies. Tom finds the design/build process very gratifying and fulfilling because he has the opportunity to turn his clients’ ideas and dreams into reality. He prides himself on the standards of the company to build the best, never cut corners and use the best available materials on every job.

 

Tom is married to Michele and has two adult children, Chris and Amy. Tom enjoys family time, especially being a grandfather to Liam and Hayden. Tom’s many interests include cycling and spin, water-skiing, and going on adventures with his dog Maddie. In the warmer months you may find Tom spending long weekends at his family vacation home in St. Michaels, Maryland. He is passionate about his volunteer activities which include Habitat for Humanity, Paws of Promise, Salvation Army Holiday Collection, and Coats for the Homeless.
